2025 Spring Conference
1st Page Critique Party
with Rachel Letofsky and Jason Brick
Our Spring Writers Conference kicks off Friday, May 16, with a first page critique party at Watercore Cider in downtown Wenatchee. (Their cider is so good!) There is a $20 additional fee to have your writing critiqued by our presenters — literary agent Rachel Letofsky and author Jason Brick. Space is limited, and priority will be given first to "Full Weekend + 1st Pg Critique" ticket holders, and then to "Full Weekend" ticket holders.
Writing samples must be submitted in advance. See ticket info page and details below, for more info.
1st Page Critique
Party Info and Submission Details
Conference ticket-holders who have purchased the "Full Weekend + 1st Pg Critique" package may submit a full page of their writing, to be critiqued and discussed at a Friday evening party at Watercore Cider in Wenatchee.
The party will be hosted by two of our conference presenters — literary agent Rachel Letofsky and author Jason Brick.

First page only — you may use the full page or choose where to end your submission story, as long as it's within the one page limit.

Title and author name are optional. Author name will not be read aloud.

Stories will be read on a first-submitted-first-read basis.

Any stories not read at the party, due to time constraints, will receive a short paragraph from the presenters via email.
