Jacob Towne is a writer and conservation photographer based in the Columbia River Basin of Central Washington. 

 

His professional work focuses on visual and written storytelling to highlight compelling local, on-the-ground conservation projects ranging from water quality to wildlife. His background in communications, conservation, and education make him uniquely qualified as a storyteller, and he is constantly finding new ways to explore ideas and share stories.

In his spare time, he writes narrative nonfiction and personal essays, loves to cook, and enjoys spending time with his family.
