Bi-Monthly Workshops

Usually hosted in January, March, May, July, September and November.

Flexible Structure

Workshops are typically 1.5 hours but may run longer if the presenter prefers.

Critique Local Work

If you would be willing to critique a few pages from participants, let us know!

Our workshops are held through Zoom on Saturday or Sunday mornings.

Write on the River serves writers with all levels of experience and across a spectrum of mainstream, literary and commercial genres. Many of our attendees have not yet published.

Sensitive Promotion.

Please do not use your book as the sole text for workshops. Do mention your books, but avoid promoting in too obvious a manner.

At the present time, WOTR offers six workshops a year and begins selecting the coming year's presenters in late spring. If we can't offer you a teaching engagement any time soon, we will keep your application on file for future years. Thank you for your interest!
