About the Event
Do you like writing in greeting cards? Do you have any cards you want to donate? Are you the person or do you know anyone that likes to make greeting cards? Friendship Bridge might be the group you want to check out. All ages are welcome.
From group leader David: "Many older adults live in assisted living or skilled nursing facilities, and have limited contact with people outside. Friendship Bridge builds connections with other adults and children in schools and preschools by sharing greeting cards, facilitating pen pal relationships and building personal relationships so that seniors in facilities stay connected to their larger communities."
